Counselling is talking therapy. You can talk in confidence, without being judged, to someone who is trained to help and is not part of your everyday life.  Counselling can help a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement and other losses, family and relationship difficulties, problems at work, or worries about health and illness.

Life coaching is about becoming more personally effective – for example, overcoming procrastination, becoming more assertive, tackling poor time-management, problem solving, handling criticism constructively, taking risks and making better decisions.

 

Bridge Therapies’ Counsellor, Wendy Evans, has a Masters degree in Counselling and over 25 years of experience, including 15 years in the NHS.
